Wow, i haven't blogged since September.. that's like two and a half months! well a lot has happened in that span of time. The semester has ended with me passing all my classes and keeping my scholarships. I bought a car about two weeks ago. She's a red 1995 Chevy Camaro. Her name is august and she makes me happy, A LOT!!!! haha. I recently got a job working up at the Brian Head Ski Resort as a Snowboard Instructor! i love my job, i get paid to do what i love, and while doing that i share my passion with other people!~ haha you can't get much better than that ;) lol unless it paid like a million dollars an hour, and that's just ridiculous.

Heist, my roommate who's real name is Rob, and i just got back from a trip to Beaver Dam where we had a good time. haha we partied it up and visited a lot of my old friends it was way fun but we didn't get to see everyone i wanted to due to time constraints :( I've gotten really excited lately about life and where i am going to take mine :) i'm going to go out to Philidelphia this summer and sell pest control for Pointe Pest control. it's gonna be awesome and i'm going to work really hard :)

Now let's take a look at the love life aspect of my life. OH done.

haha ok so that is a small exaggeration but it's fairly now existant. the two girls i was writing about in my last blog have both been like Goodbye Mark, let's be Just FRIENDS. haha so for now i'm just sorta chillin around in single style. sure there are ppl up north that like me and that i return the feelings for but frick, it's up north. how does that help me down here in blasted Cedar City???!?!?!? haha o well no big deal

O! epic story, so before i moved Joel, Roman, Scotty and me would always go to Denny's. haha so i kinda am keeping that tradition alive, Heist, me and sometimes Darren or Eric (my other Roomies) go to Denny's on a regular basis and always have a riotous time! :) haha it's pretty fun. but the big story is this. there is this waitress there and she is totally awesome! haha funny, sarcastic (in a good way Mom) , nice, and OF COURSE amazingly gorgeous. :) lol so i've been flirting with her and stuff for a while and trying to work up the courage to ask her out or for her number and a few weeks ago i finally got the stones to ask her, and i was just like Hey, can i have your number? lol and she was like WOW, that took some guts. and she gave it to me :) :) :) haha it was SIIIICK. anyway we'll see how that plays out later. as of now she's really busy and stuff.

Next story, the ward christmas party was upon us, and all through the night not a student was stirring (haha except for me!) when out of the darkness BOOM! haha i came speeding(not literally Mom/Dad) up in my shiny new Camaro! who will forever more be referred to as August. because that's her name. haha so August and i get to the ward christmas party and are chillin there with some of my roommates being hooligans of course. when whos, pretty girl sitting at the table... all alone!?!!?!! what to do?! haha so i went up to her and struck up a conversation. idk about what really i was just really excited cuz i'd bought August that day and couldn't shut up about how awesome she was. haha so we were talking and having fun. then dinner time came around and so we went our seperate ways. but then i saw one of her friends who happens to be the relief society president in my ward and was like, hey, you should hook your friend and i up on a date, lol as a sort of service project for the needy ;) haha and she looked at me like i was joking and then when she realized i wasn't being my usualy hooligan (Relief society girl!!!!) self (o that's an inside joke, that sadly i don't think anyone reading my blog will get... :(.....) she invited Heist and I to come and eat dinner with them. haha so we did. and i got her number :) lol and now it's just a matter of time before our first date :) lol Christmas break is very inconveniently placed..... haha anyway that is the story on that one. hope it wasn't too boring.

Friends! haha i now own 5 complete seasons of my favorite TV show Friends, and 2 of my close second, SCRUBS haha it's pretty awesome!


Christmas- this year it was rather interesting, i didn't get to see my dad when i went home for christmas break. and i opened presents in the middle of the afternoon on the 19th of Dec. with two and a half family members around. (Mom, Emily, Heist)

Halloween, or should i say Halo-ween??? bahahaha Darren and i stayed up really late drinking lots of Mt. Dew and playing Halo in a good example of the Notorious Tradition know as Halo-ween. lol he had a girl in his arms the whole time which i can't decide if that breaks tradition or just starts a new one... lol or maybe has no impact... lol but it was funny..

In the past few months lots have changed in the Roommate dynamic at this, The Hamlet House (where i live) we grew away from one then back closer again. kept at a safe distance from the one and are drifting ... well flying away from another. and of course i'm like this > ll with heist. hahaha and another is being stolen away from us by Janessa.... GRRRR on the Lingard Fiend! hahaha silly Darren Perrin.... :)

well i'm tired of typing, and i THINK i've covered all the important things. other than i need to emphasize some thing. the girl i was refering to as amy... i think.. yeah she is CRAZY and totally made me super sad. ugh i am MAYOR of the Zone! haha the friend zone. in case you didn't get that... well love ya all and hope you didn't fall asleep during this whopping post

haha ok, so i'm pretty much going CRa~Zy~!~!~!~! haha ok i like these two girls.... we'll call them amy and sara just for kicks and giggles and keeping things straight. hmmm actually i think that i am gonna talk about some other aspects of my life first. haha so i was going to go home this weekend but i decided to NOT go home so i could chill with amy. lol so i guess i was gonna try not to talk about amy yet... lol well i'll continue to try that. ok. so i have this humanities class and it's pretty cool but the prof has a very annoying voice and he talks very quietly so i kinda don't like it. at all. haha but there are some really pretty chill in that class nick and ella. haha i think i want to play some x box with nick this weekend... ugh i don't know why i'm blogging right now because the i can't focus on anything... except for amy and sara... haha ok i'll give in and just write about it... haha ok. so i met amy at orientation and i was smitten! haha she's super awesome :) lol anyway we were in the same ward for a while... and i've kinda blogged about her before... haha anyway so like i finally found out that she likes me so i was happy :) haha and then i found out that she didn't want a relationship... which is cool but i really wanted to advance things with her... o well. anyway so i was like ok. haha so because she said she just wanted to be friends so i decided to chill and sorta be fine with the whole situation. then i saw sara who i hadn't seen since the beginning of the year and so we chilled. and some feelings that i'd had for her started to resurface so i decided to pursue that. anyway so things went REALLY well with sara. and then life was good. i was just friends with amy like she wanted and i was pursuing sara and succeeding. lol everything was good. lol then sara said she didn't want a relationship either but that she could see it happening soon ish so i was like cool :) haha yeah... then what happened was amy started talking to me more and acting a lot more interested :) which sucks... :*( haha cuz now i was sorta more commited to sara.. and now i feel sorta like she's a little bit less interested and amy is a little more interested... and so AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH it is horrible.... well i don't really feel like explaining this more... because lets face it. you have alll the information and you can draw all the right conclusions of how crazy confused i am. o and fyi. amy has short blonde hair that is amazingly gorgeous and sara has long brown hair that is super delicious... haha yeah... hopefully i can think of some more stuff goin on in my life and tell you later

Updates

I have been up to my ears in activities lately! lol i use the word activities very loosely here. i have actually had some delicious free time but i have squandered it in ways that please me very much. The nightly ritual of Scripture Study never ends well. it starts around nine or so and ends around 1 or 2 in the morning... conducive to studying? of course not! haha recently my roommate darren and i have decided that we will start having day time study on tuesdays and thursdays so that we have a better chance of getting all of our homework done.
some of the other activities that i have been occupying my time with are varied and delicious as well... i have been chasing a girl... again... and it's actually still the same one as in my last blog which could easily come as a suprise... haha i would totally give some in-depth details but that strikes me as something a stalker would do and i am not feeling inclined to promote myself to stalker status yet... i still consider myself to at least slightly resemble a normal human being ;) but to give you the gist of what is going on i will tell you this much. she's awesome ;) blonde. short (to me of course) and she is crazy insane. i have no idea what her opinion is towards me. whether she just wants to be friends like all girls say or if she is actually interested in me in a romantic way at all... i'm obviously hoping that it is romantic.!! she says that i'm way fun to chill with. and when it was kinda implied that i thought she might be annoyed with me she made it very clear that she wasn't mad at me and that that wouldn't be the case as long as i didn't do some crazy random mean thing ;) haha wow the grass that i am laying on is really hot... maybe i should move into the shade... nah

i recently went to lake powell! o wow it was awesome! hahaha the only pictures i have are on facebook but i'll work on downloading them to my computer and then uploading them to facebook :) haha someone else took them so they are ONLY on facebook. but it was quite an adventure. we drove a grand total of ten hours to get there and four to get back...... WHOA STEP BACK haha we were given really bad directions and then took a route that is way longer than needed because of all the twists and turns that of course had a lower speed limit... yeah at two in the morning Heist and i got really car sick and got out on the road and randomly did some push ups. o wow they helped... haha idk why but they did :) anyway the next day we finally arrived at Powell after spending a humor filled morning at a hotel and driving the rest of the way there. when i finally got a chance to get up on the wakeboard it was like heaven.! o wow it felt so natural! i got up my second try and immediately left the wake and was out on the edges carving! haha i tried to jump my first time but didn't account for some of the differences between snowboarding and wakeboarding... like the rope! haha yeah so i bailed pretty good ;) or maybe that was the second time... i'm not exactly sure... haha but i know that either the second or third time that i got up on the board i went off the wake, caught some air, and MOST TOTALLY BEASTED THE LANDING!!!! haha for those who aren't fully comprehending this previous statement, it means i landed it AWESOMELY!!!! haha i totally have some sick pictures! i'm pretty psyched about the whole experience :) haha so Darren and i just recently had a delicious conversation about lightbulbs and stuff like that. but i realized that nuclear power is smarter anyway.... haha o well.
alright the last material that i will be putting into this particular post is a little bit about my friend Chuck. haha Heist introduced us. they were roommates at UVU haha it's awesome he's 28 and we totally got along well, lol even with 10 years age difference ;) lol it was a riot hanging out with him and Fiestie Heistie :) my new nick name for the already nick named heist :) i'm actually missing my family a little bit which i was not expecting at all. anyway thanks for reading :)

o one last note. this girl jamie is crazy.... she says she disagrees with pretty much all of my views on life and stuff i say and what not. but she likes me. and the reason she says is because i intrigue her.... weird stuff...

this is the cool arrangement of cork board that we put up on our wall haha i wish that we had a few more sqares so that we could make it look even better... haha but yeah. as you can kinda see on the far bottom right cork board piece Darren has broken a mirror and arranged the Shards to look kinda like the sun. well that's what he says :) haha i like it but can't see the sun very well.... Darren is an art Major and does some pretty ccool things. lol and all of his homework is fun! lol for him at least.

Mother? haha i can't remember i was just on a picture taking spree and captured this oober precious moment between him and a family member :) :) :) haha he's pretty sick :) lol and he gave me an oober awesome compliment today! he was on the phone with his dad and i was lying in my bed not wanting to get out. and i think he thought i was asleep cuz he was like yeah my roommate is way cool! he's awesome and he cooks a LOT! haha it make me oober happy that i'm appreciated.... which is kinda pansy but that's ok! haha cuz i don't think any guys read my blog... except maybe my Padre which is ok if he sees me sensitive ;) lol and MAYBE Eric and Justin and they already know how ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~CrAzY~~~~~~~~~~~~ i am! haha and i hope you can all see the mountain dew can in the background DO THE DEW!

The Frustrations of My New College Life

I'm pretty sure that i don't have to worry about what i'm saying on this particular blog entry because none of my college associates read my blog... haha i doubt anyone reads my blog at all... haha o well it's not a big deal. ANYWAY the reason that i'm writing this blog tonight is because people are being crazy... here's the story

these two girls are mad at me. i don't know why and they won't tell me why. and it seems awkward to ask them. and the friends that i have that actually know won't tell me because they're SWORN TO SECRECY haha so it's oober gay... so i don't really know why i said haha cuz really it kinda just makes me unhappy and sad..... ugh

ok second there is this really really cool girl...... and her name... well she'll remane unnamed in case by some chance she reads my blog in the future.... and so yeah... haha anyway she's way cool. but i'm totally confused cuz her verbal communications are hinting that she kinda likes me. but it's not like she's OOBER interested.... haha and so now i'm just sorta like hmmm. anyway and my buddy heist who is a psychology major is like talking about all of her nonverbal ques.... and so i'm oober sad cuz he's pretty smart about all of that and he's saying that her non verbal is negative and that she is oober excited to get home and hang out with someone else at home... obviously a guy so i'm fairly discouraged now... but i'm up for the challenge.... i hope that this blog gave you guys some insight to my current frustrations.... well i love you all! :) cuz i'm a good happy guy. but according to the fricken stupid girl mentioned in the first problem i'm NOT a happy nice person and i'm NOT ACCEPTING OF OTHER PEOPLE'S VIEWS.... My House

well i'm totally moved into my house now. it is really awesome all my kitchen stuff is settled. my room is in order everything is clean and i'm totally excited! haha but i realized that school starts in about a week and that is gonna TANK! ugh i hate this part of moving out. ugh so my house is totally cool except for like one thing. A LACK OF ELECTRICAL OUTLETS!!!! in my room we have TWO outlets... ONLY TWO!!! and since the internet is in our room we only have access to ONE! i'm using it up and have an extension cord with multiple plugs at the end of it giving me four instead of two. my roomate hasn't even moved in yet and he doesn't have any power.... for alarm clocks or ANYTHING. anyway i met some of my Roomates today and it's been interesting. Jake is a very interesting kid and i can't decide if he's slow or just very contemplative and also very... well looks at things differently than me. haha then there is rob. haha he is totally awesome. when we were all talkin today Mark Accidentally used the first person haha and when i did that it sparked a whole line of talk and in the end i gave Rob the Nickname Heist. cuz it's freaking BEAST!!! haha so as long as i remember to call him Heist whenevere i see him we'll be good :) well my other roomate hasn't moved in yet. haha and of the other two that live downstairs one hasn't moved in yet haha and the other one i'm told always acts drunk... lol so i'm guessing he's Stoned out of his mind and just noone can tell cuz they've never been around that.... haha but who knows.... lol cuz when i was talking today in my voice that some ppl call my stoner voice they were like o he kiinda sounds like that. but more so! haha so we'll see what goes down with that. well this blog entry is getting pretty long and i have a HUGE headache! well i'll keep you guys posted on my new life here in Cedar as best as i can. haha if you are reading this please leave a small comment or something so thati know i'm not just Gibbering on and on to myself... hehe thanks guys! :) if you're still reading this you're either REALLY bored or you must really love me :) :) :)

The Concept of First Dates and Last Days Together

When you think about it's incredibly ironic that on my last day living in Beaver Dam I went on a First Date... how messed up is that! And to top it off it was so much fun! we totally drove up logan canyon after getting jamba juice. haha then we walked down the path... and then when we were playing truth or dare the one time she did dare i had her sit in the water for a whole minute!!! haha and being the nice guy i am i joined in :) (did i mention it was like nine o clock when this was happening and the water was BLOODY COLD) haha after that the date went AMAZING! lol but it went amazing before that too. lol it was just a good smile thing :) haha if that makes sense :) lol so then we totally just talked about being scared of heights lol and we went on a walk through a park and had an oober special moment together! haha it was a very weird first date because i knew i was moving in less than twelve hours and the likelihood of ever seeing her again is waaay to low for comfort.... it reminded me of another first date i've had. but man it was sad. i was having such a good time.... and then i had to go and MOVE!!! haha and since she's oober gorgeous and oober good looking (yes i know that that seems like i am repeating myself. but no. i'm not haha i've been over this with many ppl. gorgeous is a description on so many different levels it's not even funny :) i'm pretty sure that when i get back from college she'll have a super studly sexy steady boy toy.... i didnt' get to say good bye to many ppl. haha but i said goodbye to most of the important ppl so i can't complain too much. especially since i have a whole new life ahead of me. i know i kinda just switched subjects but that's ok right'? haha. anyway. my date was amazing and i was sad when it had to end. but even more so when i realized i wouldn't even have the option of taking her out again until like november. The Concept of having a First Date on a Final Day together is a tough idea to wrap your head around.... i feel for all the other ppl that have had this same experience...

Simple joys!

As i lie on my bed enjoying the deliciousness that is my own personal air conditioner i realize i am oober lucky~! there are sooo many simple joys in life! i'm lying here next to my sister emily, and by the way- yeah she's the greatest! lol well i really can't compare my sisters because they are all different and special in their own way... hehe and i do have a favorite but no one knows who it is!!! hehe well i THINK i have a favorite... :) anyway the thing that spurred this blog is my chest. haha now step back, i'm not bragging about my muscles here (although just ask emily they're comin along nicely ;) haha not really i'm still a skinny kid... haha but i can totally bench like 190 almost 200 lbs.!!!!!! anyway that's waaayyyy off subject... :) but i was reading marianne's blog with emily lying next to me, and my laptop was on my chest and my heart beat was totally moving the whole screen! just ask emily it was sooo trippy! haha it was awesome to an extreme!! haha well if you're still reading this you were either bribed by me, OR you really do love me :) haha so to all of you suffering through this blog i love you! haha and while i'm writing this simple joys blog i might as well share some of the other really cool simple joys i've experienced lately. Jared Barksdale's mission farewell was today, haha and we've always been friends but i must add that he's always given me a hard time and just been aloof? nah that's not the right word. but be never really admitted we were friends lol he was too cool for that ;) jk but anyway i hope you understand what i am trying to portray here. but yeah we totally did a little handshake buddy hug today and it just made me remember all the fun times of ditching out on his camping adventures he'd come up with... lol and the ones that i didnt' ditch out on :) playing capture the flag :) also i was reading the ensign today for my home teaching lesson that i had to prepare and it was on the worth of souls for those of you who haven't been visited yet. and just yumm it was a good feeling in my chest! haha so i'm definitely sorry to all of you who have to read this ... sorry... lol but i'm having fun and now i'm distracted so ttyl

In the past month or so i've earned? recieved? haha idk i've gotten a lot of new friends... haha but the one of most note would have to be bree... lol she's short... short... and hmmm short!!! lol and she's funny and hyper! twice! lol but the coolest thing is that we totally both love hardcore music and it's awesome we were totally just trippin out over august burns red and stuff and it just made me happy. and then of course there are my buddies joel and scotty who are completely bombin! haha but the sad thing is that i am gonna lose pretty much all of my friends in like a month...... which is gonna be sad... cuz i'll lose my best est buddies joel scotty roman and randy. but like i'm gonna go to college and meet new friends... if this doesn't make sense sorry i'm talking on the phone.... haha anyway. i'm gonna miss a lot of my friends... but don't think i'm sentimental... cuz i'm not... but like yeah.. it's like the end of an era... haha fun stuff so i guess what i'm saying in all this nonsense is that i'll miss joel scott roman and randy... and all my other friends too... but especially them ... and my family cuz they are my friends.... but i'm excited for the future... and chillin with bree!
